Looking at all of these posts I think it shows the best also have other more than decent characters around them. They may stand out but without a strong support they would not stand out as much.

If he was so intelligent why didn't he just race off to the finish and win every time? He had the fastest car. He always just lost in spite of 20 minutes building traps and diversions for the other contestants. ;-)
