My daughter is going in May to Oludeniz in Turkey and I am a bit worried.
I have tried to google wether its safe but nothings updated recently,i know no-one can be sure but I need reassuring.

We've been to Turkey for the last few years, loved it.
But won't be going back this year for obvious reasons.
It hasn't put my parents off tho, they go in May.

Not being obtuse or trying to be humourous, but Google can't look into the future. Turkey is clearly an easy target as it borders Syria. It's less safe than other places, that's one guarantee. You're right to be concerned.

Were going to Sarigerme in July, not far from OluDeniz, can't wait. Went to Marmaris a couple of years ago and loved it. My attitude is that if you worry about everything thats going on in the world you'll never go anywhere. The size of Turkey the chances of anything happening outside any of the major cities are so remote its not worth worrying about, anf those cities are so far from where we are staying it would be like not going to Plymouth in case Glasgow gets attacked.

If shes staying at the Kenzi resort on the outskirts ,then worry not , the place is fantastic , she will not need or want to venture out . In town it is all quite safe though and i would have no problem going there .
