Trying the AMP this weekend...

Being honest I've never liked cobra at all, this hatred stems from the old drivers that sounded like a steel drum being beaten, but the new e9 technology abd revamp has me hooked, I want to try their 3w against some other 3w, not sure on irons though..... Still like the tm cb's

I'm similar with Cleveland. A guy I used to play with at my golf club used to bang on and on about his Cleveland driver he had at home that "sounded so good when you hit it". He eventually stuck it in his bag and used it off the first tee........sounded like someone smashing a hammer on and old empty bin! He turned to me, wide eyed and said "doesn't that sound the tits?".........I'm sorry fella, are you deaf? I'd rather hear my wife nagging at me after every tee shot I hit than that! I now have a hatred for Cleveland as his whole bag was Cleveland......didn't help that he was a complete idiot as well. I soon sold my CG15 LW too.

It wasn;t a Hi-Bore XLS was it? Looks like you've slammed the back of it in a door. I've got one in the bag and the sound is awful. I get embarrassed hitting it on the range when its busy. Awful noise!!

Oh, hang on........Stoke by Nayland......I'll stand well away with ear defenders on while your teeing off.....walk the other side of the fairway and if anyone asks I don't know you and you don't know me. Capiche? ;)
 
I have ended up with a bagful of Cobra, and let me tell you, they make good gear.

I tested a bunch of drivers and the only thing I had in mind was that I didn't like white. Yet I ended up with an all white driver because it just perfoms to damn well.
