Hi I’m wondering if anyone has bought the TRS Slider developed by Robert Rock.
I’m wondering whether to buy one. All reviews seem to be very positive.
I’ve always been self taught and don’t pay for lessons ect.

I’ve got one. If you’re struggling with trail arm and elbow position, arms and torso not connected, it’s a good thing to use.

It’s better than some of the cheaper ones I’ve had as it allows the trail elbow to move through impact instead of it being pinned down too much.

It’s had no effect on my hair though 😂

I probably could've done with one of these as I had a flaring right elbow issue a year ago. I never use training aids though as I'd be too embarrassed. I think they look silly.

I had some time out (18 months) and been back playing for 6 months. Just got some niggling inconsistency creeping in now and then which is so annoying. At times my iron play can be amazing but then a pull hook will creep in.
Maybe I will give this gadget a go it’s the price of a lesson or two.
On the plus side my handicap is creeping up 😂😂

It does look good on the clips I've seen. Makes sense and to be fair he is both a renowned coach and had one of the smoothest swings on tour. You would hope he would do something decent in terms of this.

I've been considering this. I generally dont pfaff about with so called training aids, but this one piqued my interest.

I don't believe I suffer from a flailing right elbow and seem to keep it reasonably well connected to my body....but I do have an out to in swing path that increases as the clubs lengthen and it may well be that my swing is not as connected as I think it is. The price point is right where I'm starting umming and ahhing....£15 cheaper and I'd have splashed out for one....£15 more and I'd definitely be saying no thanks.

I have it and find it really helpful. Trying to work on keeping my elbow more in and more connected to my body, which is exactly what it promotes. It doesnt fix all swing issues, but if its something that you are specifically working on, then as a product I think it's really good. I tend to do a few swings with it, then just undo the arm part, a few swings without to try and replicate and continue the pattern. Also useful if you are working on something else it means you don't have to worry about the arm being connected because it will automatically do it for you, so less overall swing thoughts when trying to change multiple things.
