When I was 34/30 and when I went up to 36/30 with a decent beer belly I found the Ping trousers the best fit and more importantly they were straight off the shelf, never had to get them turned up, now the belly is reducing and the waist going down, my Galvin Greens are fitting and feeling the most comfortable they've ever been, especially all my Neds.

I have two pairs of Pings that are great. Much better than standard chinos. Get them in the sales, they are worth it.

Ping trousers are for the me the most comfortable, whether now at my currently largest or before as a much slimmer version.

Agreed, do like a pair of Footjoys!
That said I recently bought a pair of Under Armour tapered trousers which are really quite comfy on the green - although I've only tried them in the great outdoors once so far so we'll see what they're like after a wash!
