When I read the title, I thought it was a rather severe forfeit for the worst score in a fourball.

With shooting like that you can easily get that cut and more.

I thought that the CSS wasn't fixed but based on the returns for that competition so I thought I would check

From the CONGU website.

What is a CSS?
A CSS (Competition Scratch Score) is the SSS after it has been adjusted due to scores returned in the competition. Handicaps are then adjusted if the nett differential is higher or lower than the CSS.

So you could achieve 13.4 playing 2 below your H/Cap but it would depend on the other returned scores.

so my 15.1-1.5 to give me 13.6 is now 15.2-1.2 = 14.00

There's nowt wrong with getting cut a whole shot mate!

Hrc, thanks for the confidence vote, if I'm honest I don't think my game deserves to be at 13 yet but if the card days it does maybe I'm expecting to much from my game

Sweatysock - cheers for clearing that up, on checking the scores there was a few single figure boys that didn't manage to break 80.

Mr just one ....... If nothing else that post just motivated me to play better just so in March's round I can tell you to get stuffed

Always assume CSS will be 1 less than SSS, that way you can only get more cut than you expect.

Apart from that, as Homer said, a cut is a cut. Last one I had was a .2 in September so I'd take anything right now.
