Tried a quick search and couldn't find anything.

I've been giving the task of organising a long weekend golfing to Spain next year.

Any suggestions or places to avoid would be appreciated.
Golf most important followed by beer and a spot of night life.

Cheers

Which part of Spain? I've played quite a few on Costa del Sol - but none in the rest of spain!

Wayne fae Spain at Elite should be able to put a plan together for you! ;)

there's always good deals to go to La Manga, and there's enough nightlife to get in plenty of trouble. I've just got back from Puerto Banus, which is a golfing mecca for lads trips but bloody expensive.

If you're not set on Spain, have a look at Villamoura, the courses are better value and all within 10 mins of the main hotels & marina. Check out Yourgolftravel, used them 3 times and can't praise them high enough.

Playa Flamenca is a good base. Located just south of Torrevieja in Costa Blanca. Beach close by and a large Commercial Centre (CC) with loads of bars and places to eat.

Golf wise some great courses in easy reach, Las Ramblas, Campamoar, Villa Martin. Slightly further afield the courses get even better, La Finca, Lo Romero and Las Colinas. Nearer Murcia another great is Hacienda de Alamo and Hacienda Requelme.

For cheap golf fees I would recommend The Golf Factory http://www.thegolffactory.es/

Feel free to ask any questions

Dodger I've got to a least pretend it's about golf.
Heidi none of us have played abroad before so not bothered which part really
I really enjoyed la cala. 3 courses, great set up. Get digs in fuengirola. Say hi to the staff in the London pub from me and matty boy! ;)

Would reccomend both Villamoura and La Manga, both are very good for golf and beer, Villamoura shades it on nightlife. Can also recommend yourgolftravel, used them for 4 or 5 years now.

Got to agree, villamoura has great courses nearby, also marbella area is so expensive for a nite on the beer.have used golf breaks and your golf travel for the last few trips.

Yep - we had a great time. I thought La Cala Europe was on the tough side! The other courses we played were Santana and Santa Maria which were a bit more forgiving after a night on the sauce.

I also thought the food was great (although Heidi might have had something to do with that).

'Wayne in Spain' did us proud and met us at the airport. Fuengirola is a bit of a tip IMO but I would recommend the trip.

Don't overlook Majorca, some very nice courses and the night time anthropological wonders of Magaluf, or the more civilised restaurants of Palma.

6 of us are off to benidorm for 7 days golfing, playing 4 rounds, sure there's a website we done it through, could find out from my mate who organised it if needs be mate

Got to agree, La Cala is great, Santana is probably my favourite just stunning. Other courses, Torrequebrada is good, but a little on the expensive side and Parador is another good one, both have held Spanish opens. And of course if your going to the Costa Del Sol, nights out in Puerto Banus are a must ;)
