What do you get for 260?
You used to get bags, hats, practically full suit. It represented not terrible value.
Over the years the quality seemed to dip dramatically maybe new owners have hone back to quality stuff?
To be clear, I've never played, or even considered playing, so all that info is 2nd hand.... seems like a bandits paradise....

I got the email. It also got deleted quite quickly.
but you get to wear a hat and look like a right knob!
Seems there is Glenmuir clothing (although not specific as to what) and you get a free practice round. Only 4 venues announced

I believe you are allowed to wear what you want. It's just the name remains.

Its seems from the website you get next to nothing for your money unless you get to the finals, where you get some food, a poloshirt and .... a cap...
Would suggest (and I don't know for sure but surmising) if they are giving Glenmuir stuff away you'll be expected to wear it so Glenmuir get their TV exposure

You can play a qualifying round for £55 OR pay £260 for a regional event which could lead to a final depending where you finish.

Are the regionals on tv or are they, in effect 2nd stage qualifying?
