Trespassing on golf courses

Wimbledon Common was a nightmare. Common land and public have the right of way on all holes and boy did they know it. One guy would deliberately walk from green to tee down the middle and make sure he took his dog off the lead at the same time to make it as long a wait for the golfers as possible. Nothing you could do but smile politely and wait

Quite simply I wouldnt go anywhere near a golf course that has this policy.

It's common land. The annoying thing is the course itself is short but exacting with some really good greens. Just the public are a pain.

And the common rangers on their horses are just as bad. A bunch of pathetic jobsworths. I wouldn't go back to that course even if you paid me.

Apparently they don't get dog walkers or walkers in general at Ormskirk GC. The land owner used to shoot them!
