I bought the 8 iron, bent shaft. I think one forumer bought the wedge and said they wished they had bought the 8 iron. There was a thread a couple of months ago.
Definately buy the bent shaft over the straight one to begin with. The straight shaft is only really to ingrain everything you have learned from using the bent shaft.

Thanks, 8 iron bent shaft it is !

I had a DST wedge first and loved it, it is much more forgiving to strike than the 8 iron that bought a month or so back (both bent shaft versions). Both are great, but would have gone 8 first now that I've used both. I saw no need for the straight shaft one, yes it has HPAM and bogger sole, but I already have a wedge and 8 iron in the bag to know if the strike is right, so alternate between them when practising.

Just typing about it, make me wanna go hit some balls! #golfgeek

Well, I've had the DST Compressor 8 iron for a few weeks now, and I can honestly say that it's fantastic. I've gone from a bit of a sweeper to someone who takes nice divots after the ball. My yardages are up and the quality of strike is much improved. I even had a PP compliment me on the "sound" of my ball striking yesterday.

I can't recommend it enough. I'll be ordering the wedge when I get back from Aberdeen.

Might have a nosey at this on Monday Danny

In eradicating my bubba hook on every shot I'm a bit of a sweeper now aswell, only heard good things about this.......

Mines now in 2 pieces :( only took it out on the course practice area about 4 times, lay it in front of me in an "L" shape so I had my feet aligned a 90* angle to the target, all was going well and then I knobbed one and the ball struck the joint and shattered it :( now left with 2 traditional sticks!

How did you manage that? The ball shouldn't be anywhere near the hinge

I've ordered a v-easy...

What is the think that catches the ball, in the video? It looks like a minature cable spool.... the ball sort of sticks in it. Where can I get one? It looks nifty!
