My boy who was 4 at the time got his photo taken with Ian Stannard before the 2018 Cockermouth to Whinnlatter team time trail. Great photo of the little boy on his bike with Stannard.
It was great to see Stannard win the stage 2 days later, the photo op came about when the rider just stopped as he was passing and asked the lad about his bike. Class moment.

Apparently there was a stage from Aberdare to Bath. Wasn't on the news locally, wouldn't have known if I hadn't seen the link on here.

Mind you, every weekend the B2435 is like a cross between the Tour de France and the TT Races! :ROFLMAO:

That stage was a couple of years back. Had a fair bit of publicity locally but seeing as we are a relatively small town perhaps that wasn't the same throughout the rest of the country. Was hoping to get to a stage this year but a little too far away for me sadly.

I was away this year but usually go to watch at Gifford (at the Rigg).
Looked great as per usual. A few I know watched it at Innerliethen.
