Can you put a Tour Edge EX220 driver adapter into a Ping 425 Driver? Do you need to pull the Ping shaft adapter then put onto the tour edge shaft?

Almost certainly the latter
All manufacturers have different adapter sleeve configurations and none that I know of are compatible with others.
