Was in my local tescos last night and they are selling top flite gamer's for £12 for 15 balls, are they any good? What with the inevitable soft greens, waterlogged fairways and knee high thick green rough that is coming in the next few weeks has anyone played these balls? what are they like? I don't want to meander into the rough and lose a pro vi because the sun is low.

I read the description and it seems to have everything.

You would be better off going to your local JJB Sports they are selling 24 Nike SFT for £18.00

I don't work for them but would recommend the above balls especially at theat price

I reviewed these for GM earlier in the year. For £12.00 they are OK, softer than a distance ball and I suppose comparable to the likes of a Srixon AD333. They are not quite up to the standard of the Srixon but are much cheaper and are worth a try, certainly as a good, low priced winter ball if nothing else. Certainly if I see them at £12.00 for 15 in my local Tesco I would buy a box and give them another try.
