Stone Roses 1st album anyone?

Definately in mine, Atticus. Along with:-

New Fast Automatic Daffodils - Pigeonhole
Black - Wonderful Life
New Order - Brotherhood
Martha Tilston - Of Milkmaids and Architects

But this list changes about a hundred times a day!

I thought I was the only person who had heard of the New Fast Automatic Daffodils. Good choices there.

Crikey......it's give-your-age-away time.

With a degree or two in Music I could go on about Bach, Mozart, Brahms, Tchaikovsky and Sibelius.....but that would be silly.

Umm.....in no order.....

U2 - The Joshua Tree
Marillion - Childhood's End
Radiohead - The Bends
Depeche Mode - Violator
Prince - Sign of the times

I wonder how many of us middle aged so and so's there are, living out our youth on youtube with a nice bottle of red, while the missus watches Corrie. What happened to our New Gold Dream? In my case it turned into mortgage, marriage and mayhem!!

Lifted, but it kinda sums it all up really.

So much music from our youth on this thread.

It's been emotional.

Ommadawn much better TB - t'was the Burundi drummers that made it.

Have to say there was a lot which made me think "how could I not have put that on the list...". Ah well, so much music, so much beer and so little time

Ps. Forgot to mention at the time - nice hat ! (terrible grip, terrible shirt, but nice hat).
