Top 5 favourite albums of all time

Stone Roses 1st album anyone?

Definately in mine, Atticus. Along with:-

New Fast Automatic Daffodils - Pigeonhole
Black - Wonderful Life
New Order - Brotherhood
Martha Tilston - Of Milkmaids and Architects

But this list changes about a hundred times a day!

Iron Maiden - Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
Sisters Of Mercy - A Slight Case Of Overbombing
Stereophonics - Performance And Cocktails

Crikey......it's give-your-age-away time.

With a degree or two in Music I could go on about Bach, Mozart, Brahms, Tchaikovsky and Sibelius.....but that would be silly.

Radiohead - The Bends
Depeche Mode - Violator
Prince - Sign of the times

Misplaced Childhood - Marillion
Raingods with Zippos - Fish

Bat out of Hell - Meatloaf

I wonder how many of us middle aged so and so's there are, living out our youth on youtube with a nice bottle of red, while the missus watches Corrie. What happened to our New Gold Dream? In my case it turned into mortgage, marriage and mayhem!!

Lifted, but it kinda sums it all up really.

So much music from our youth on this thread.

It's been emotional.
