Okay so I gave it away, but that wasn't the point of the thread anyway. I was more interested what else was out there that people really liked.

I got into music quite seriously from the age of 7. The John Miles reference wasn't because of i-tunes, I used to play that track to death, much to my parents delight (not), especially as my father was paranoid about us kids touching his hi-fi kit.

Got brought up on a combination of The Stones, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Bob Dylan and The Moody Blues. Though some of my first purchases a few years later were Games Without Frontiers and Turning Japenese.

Enough about me. I'm off to bed. Back to the thread.

Really is hard to choose 5 but here goes:

1. The Wonderstuff: Eight Legged Groove Machine.
2. AC/DC: Back in Black
3. Eminem: The Marshall Mathers LP.
4. The Cult: Electric
5. The Jesus and Mary Chain: Barbed Wire Kisses

So many more I could have included.

Great to see The 8 Legged Groove Machine in there, Greg
