Okay as the title says.

Hoping that there might be some gems for me to check out or have forgotton about from you guys (I include you ladies an'all).

In no particular order.

The Black Crowes - The southern harmony and musical companion.

Simple Minds - New Gold Dream (81,82,83,84)

ABC - Lexicon Of Love (edited - Thanks Vig!!)

Bryan Adams - Reckless

Duran Duran - Rio

Thunder - Back Street Symphoney

Marillion - Reel to real (live)

Genesis - Duke

Kula Shaker - K

Paul Weller - Stanley road

Okay so it was 10. So difficult to narrow it down, and that 10 might change tomorrow!!

Can you guess how old I am from that lot??!! (Don't think it'll be too hard.)

Have fun with it.

Here are just a few of my huge list of favourites as I could never pick just 5.

Foo Fighters - The colour and the shape

Faithless - Greatest Hits

The Beatles - The White Album

My Chemical Romance - Welcome to the black parade.

Radiohead - Ok Computer

The Darkness - Permission to Land

Metallica - S&M

Sublime - 2nd hand smoke

Nirvana - Nevermind

Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie & the infinite sadness

Oasis - Morning Glory

Stereophonics - Word Gets Around

Guns N Roses - Apetite for destruction

Plus many, many more.

MWJ.

No mistaking what you're into. Some good stuff in there.

I've got a large underwater photo of my son in the 'Nevermind' pose. The Mrs wouldn't let me photoshop it with either a dollar bill in front of him, or, a great white shark behind him. Shame!

GnR was so close to getting on the list but it just seems so cliche'd now. Still a great album though.

Drats, forgot Pearl Jam - Ten. Now who do I drop??

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Love by The Cult
Led Zeppelin IV
Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Play by Moby

plus many many more

I shall restrict myself to 8 plus "Current favourite": If you have a copy of #2, award yourself 5 bonus points...

1. Grandaddy - The Sophtware Slump
2. Blacklight Barbarian - Blacklight Barbarian
3. Monster Magnet - Power Trip
4. Flaming Lips - Soft Bulletin
5. Kyuss - Welcome To Sky Valley
6. Rush - Caress Of Steel
7. Fountains Of Wayne - Welcome Interstate Managers
8. KLF - The White Room

Current favourite - Weezer (The Red Album)

Great topic Hapless,

Mine are listed below:

So .... Peter Gabriel

Bat out of Hell .......... Meatloaf

Graceland ...... Paul Simon

Guns n Roses .........Appetite for destruction.

The Proclaimers ...... Sunshine on Leith

Anything by A-ha !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry but I was their biggest fan.

Not for me to criticise, but Aha!! My Mrs loves Micheal Bolton - why!!??

Mr Meat is a sound choice. Never bettered by him since.

Intro to 'Welcome' is just great, had it as a ring tone for a while (annoying in the office!!).

Madandra. Personally thought that the whole african thing was done better by Malcolm Mclaren with the album Duck Rock; and it preceeded Gracelands by a few years. IMHO of course.

However time to check out 'So' again; reminds me a bit of Talking Heads. Darn, there's another one 'Stop Making Sense'.

1 - Abbey Road - Beatles
2 - Number of the Beast - Iron Maiden
3 - Sheer Heart Attack - Queen
4 - Thriller - Michael Jackson
5 - The Rise and fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars - David Bowie
-------------------------------------------------------

That's the top 5 today, but it'll change tomorrow

Also,

Rumours...............Fleetwood Mac
Steeltown.............Big Country
Back in Black.........ACDC
Breakfast in America..Supertramp

At the time, I loved Stanley Road and Morning Glory, but on reflection I probably prefer their predecessors Wildwood and Definitely Maybe.

Really is hard to choose 5 but here goes:

1. The Wonderstuff: Eight Legged Groove Machine.
2. AC/DC: Back in Black
3. Eminem: The Marshall Mathers LP.
4. The Cult: Electric
5. The Jesus and Mary Chain: Barbed Wire Kisses

So many more I could have included.
