Come on you Eagles!

Swansea doing very well holding out at the moment.

Looks like Chelsea are missing the creative edge from Hazard or Oscar

Thank goodness for small mercies ........... Ba has just scored for that London club that I don't have much time for!

Still missing a creative edge - was that the first shot on target ?

The end result is all that matters, he's resting players and Hazzard is injured, the 'squad' should be good enough but some don't get enough games so match rusty! Take nothing against the Swans, they are fighting for survival and only 10 men so they were always then going to put everyone behind the ball, very hard to breakdown then.

3 points is3 points, just like a golf card, no pictures.

Cant disagree with that

Its going to go right down to the wire

Typical

Chelsea spoil a good day :D

Going to be a cracking final 4 games of the season - cant wait

Thoughts from the day, although inebriated:-

How Suarez stayed on the pitch, I'll never know. Far too selfish with dives, getting involved in stuff he shouldn't have, kicking the ball away and more. Very selfish.

Decisions did go our way today overall. Coutinho-midfield tackling destroyer, never mind that finish.

What an atmosphere! Our gorund can be as quiet as can be, but when needed, no better sight in English and European football.

Only the premiership does games like that - keep your Bundesliga, Serie A, Spanish - not a patch on that for a rip-roaring game.

Chelsea fans prove that they have more mindless than most - shame on you.

City fans - impeccable. Shows what respect can achieve above rivalry. Immense.

So it's true what is being said ?

Not the first time as well.

There are idiots within all clubs, I went to a Manure Vs L'Pool match in the early 90's as a guest of someone in a box and saw a very large majority of l'pool fans standing doing the aeroplane and singling Munich songs, not until a club sometimes encounters its own disaster do some attitudes subside, but, their will always be a small minority everywhere that will be blinkered.

Yes there will be and have also seen it happen.

At least this time there was no chanting and booing and the ref didn't have to stop the minutes silence.

I don't disagree with you that there are a small number of idiots at all clubs but having watched it on Youtube that was more than a "few" idiots.
Did like the guy with a distinctly cockerney accent yelling at them and informing them what he thought they were. (not posting a link and not saying what he said!)

Can't understand why people regardless of their thinking just can't keep quiet for one minute in respect - or do they lack the human decency as people.

It's the same as the office in Leicester who could hold a minute silence for Armistice day because people complained ( from a different religion) the year before as they felt "forced" to partake

Seeing as we are no longer able to fly the St Georges Cross in places and celebrate because it upsets other nationalities (but no one argues about St Patricks day and all the money for businesses - well pubs - it generates) I tend to have a degree of sympathy with Phil's point of view. It doesn't correlate from the original theme though where 96 humans went to a sporting event and died and those responsible from the top down were never held fully accountable. I have no doubt once the 25th anniversary is dealt with and the latest legal proceedings grind to a conclusion and the news media dissects whatever outcome is reached, for a large majority it will disappear from the front pages and many peoples minds. Those affected will never forget and like any family that suffers bereavement whatever the cause (age, illness, tragedy etc) nor should they.
