I currently have Mizzy mx25 irons, I've always had mizzies but I'm thinking of jumping ship and trying Titleist irons, probably the AP2's, if you own them what do you think of them?

I have the current AP2s and think they are fantastic, but then I bought them to replace my 20 year old Titleit DTRs.
Plenty of pros are using them including Nick Waney who used them to win the WGC Cadillac last weekend.

I'm more than happy with mine but if you stick to the respected manufacturers I don't think you can buy a bad iron. It's all about what suits your eye and swing.

I got fitted for my driver at Garforth range, they did a good service.

I have had mine since just before Xmas.
They are custom fit and I bought them over my initial choice of Mizuno's.
They are a superb set in my opinion but I have found that they are quite heavy and I get better results when I slow my swing down - which is never a bad thing anyway as they accuracy improves.
I wouldn't swap them for anything at the moment and I added the D2 driver to the set last week and that is feeling good too
If you buy I suggest you get custom fit too and wish you luck

Not an owner but when I ordered my MB's they sent a set of AP2's and I was sorely tempted to keep them!

When I got my Mizzies I tried the AP2 as well. In all honesty there wasn't much to choose between them. I just prefered the look of the MP58 but would quite happily have plumped for the AP2.

I've had 2 sets and I like them a lot. I think you will like them but you need to test for yourself of course. BTW the MP57 is a nice club as well. I tried those out (a while ago now) but I opted for the Titleist irons as they suited me that little bit more.

Tried them when I was looking to upgrade last year....with project 5.5 shafts and they were really terrific clubs.I went for the JPX pro instead because the head was slightly bigger and I'm a mizzy whore...and given my current handicap more suitable.

Tried them 2 years ago when i was fitted for my mp57. Couldn't hit them tbh.
