Im new to this site, just wondering has any one bought these clubs recently, and if so where at? I was quoted £400 by a friend who works in the golf industry, have seen them advertised at approx £250 on a website www.cheapgolfstoreuk.com. Would be wary of this site tho. Thanks for advice in advance.

I don't even need to look at your link to know that the will be fake. Best thing to do wit Titleist is to get fitted by Titleist.

Agree that you don,t want to be buying from that web site £250 is cheap for the 712 version.

Have you tried these clubs, which is what you really want to do before you buy.

Also don't limit yourself to just these clubs.

If you do a search on here you will find a thread on web sites you need to avoid or can trust.

Welcome :)

I bought a set of 4-PW for £499 a few months ago and I got fitted for them at a local pro shop. £250 is ridiculously cheap for these irons so I'd stay away from that site

Welcome by the way.

Hello and welcome.
2 good moves firstly joining the fun and games on here! :)
Secondly avoiding buying fakey fakey Chinese titleist looky likey irons!

Odd.

You come on here, ask for advice, and then plug a link to a fake club website.

Don't go near that site.

Do buy some. They are fantastic.

RRP is £600.

Some folk are getting them for £499, but possibly not the full set.

Welcome. :)

Thanks for the advice, and it was a genuine question for those who queried my sincerity! £400 is cost price so im lucky to be able to get them for that price.

Got the irons, hitting them well, just wondering about gap/lob wedges. im still carrying my old pw and sw (48 and 56 degree respectively) PW in AP1 set is 45 degrees. I was thinking about getting two vokey wedges 52 and 60. does that sound about right?

that was the set up I had at first and the gap between PW and 52 was too big so I changed to 50,54,58. Happy shopping

That would depend on how much of a gap you would want between full wedge shots really.
The Gw in the AP1 is 50*. So you have a difference of 5* and then 6* to your SW. I tend to play a lot of my wedge shots with the Gw and just shorten the swing, sort of skipping the ball on and letting it run out, only using the 56 and 60 for bunkers or where I need height to get the ball to stop.
