Did any of you get interchangeable weights when you bought your 910? All I got was the wrench, but no extra weights. Not that I'm bothered as I'm happy with the set-up, just curious.

You lot are just trying to get my credit card maxed out aren't you.....
I'm like Macster, desparately attempting to resist but I can feel my resolve slipping.
Need a bit more convincing though...

Try it. What's the worst that could happen? :D

Had my first round with it today. Changed the setting to B4 (most open, most lofted) last night after a range trip that saw me drawing most shots. It still looks closed to me, might have to mess with my grip.

Still drew most shots today, except I get to my bogey hole, aim at the trees on the right. I don't need to say where it went.

Driving much better today though, low scores are a comin' in the summer!

Think Im close to succumbing, any idea if anywhere local that will do a proper fit Imurg or do I need to go over to Cambs?

There should be plenty of places in the locality that can do a decent fitting. Most of the carts provided to retailers have all the standard, and a selection of custom, shafts.

But a trip to Cambs will offer an even more extensive choice of custom shafts, and if you have never been to a serious fitting, worth a go, in my opinion.

Only place I know down here is the range at Long Crendon. But I don't like trying clubs there as the range is raised a bit and it slopes downhill quite a lot. You can't see an accurate trajectory that way no matter what the numbers say.
May go over to Oxford Golf Centre. Marc, the Pro, did my Mizzy fitting and they have Titleist clubs too. Either that or the Belfry and go the whole hog..

Last driver (Callaway not Titleist) was properly custom fit, have always had the option at clubs Ive been a member at in the past, in a different area now and none of local clubs seem to offer. Want a proper custom fit for sure as Im at one end of the shaft extremes (Im 6ft5 and give it a good lick).

Cambs not much more than an hours trip so prob the best approach (though a chance I end up with more than just a driver if I go there lol)

Agree with the Crendon range, dont like it at all. For me Cambs prob as close as Oxford is so I expect Im better going that route

IF I do give in and put in my order, I'd be a smidge reluctant to go down to Cambridge for a full fitting.
When the 909's came out, I was one of the lucky 3 GM readers selected to go down for a full fitting, where I ended up with a D2 fitted with a Graphite Design YSQ shaft.

I loved the Club, but for some reason, just couldnt hit the thing at all, except with a damaging slice.
I even went back for the Titleist guys to have another look, where I promptly hit the thing 'ok', but again, once back on the course, it wasnt pretty.
Hence I went back to my G5, with Aldila NV-65S shaft, which was far more reliable.

I think if I do order, I'd just go with either the NV-65 again, or perhaps the RIP 60.

I can feel it calling me........

I know you can change shafts in any club, but once they've been out for a while shafts will start to appear on ebay at sensible money like the Callaway I-Mix has so you'll be able to change on a whim.

would help if the find a fitter link on their website would work, seems you need to book through a local stockist to get an appt at Cambs anyway

Just had a reply to my email to them. They have admitted that there is a problem on the website, but I'll have to wait for it to be fixed (how hard was it for them to manually look up 2 or 3 local options for me). And if I want to go to Cambs I have to book through one of these local outfits, they are currently taking bookings for March 10th onwards!!!!!!!!!!

I'll take that as they don't give a s*** if they sell me a driver or not (or 3 wood, or hybrid, or any other in future)
