Here's some footage at the range at Beau of the man, the myth the legend.........

No he’s not, he’s a GM forum villain.... a bad guy I tell you!!! Ye I know he is, I chatted to him on PM a bit :D

It’s nice that someone has a different way of doing things, its just a shame its the wrong way imo :D Does not mean I have not thought about it since he landed on our forum though, but its not all about swing speed, some of it has to be use of the large muscles and that means its technique.

I didn't have chance to play with Tim unfortunately, but was in the next bay at the practice area (and yes he hit the fence at 254 yards on the full a few times) and had a quick chat in the lounge on arrival. He certainly has plenty of charisma, great sense of humour (as surely everyone must have realised by the posts?) and a decent bloke, he will be welcomed back to forum meets at any time I am sure.

As others have said, Beau is a tough test of golf for even the accomplished player never mind someone who has only been playing such a short time, and I am pretty sure Tim was by no means the lowest score on the day.

Looking at the photos I think its everything I hate in a golf course(though it looks beautiful). I go to bits on tree lined courses.. Well I should say I did the last time I played one and it has scared me.

Sounds like a good day was had by all though... what was the winning score?

Qwerty won with 33 in the morning and 34 in the afternoon. I played with him in the morning and it was nice steady golf - keeping the ball in play. He drove the par 4 9th but sadly missed the eagle attempt.

What's more impressive is that his powakaddy wheel nut fell off on the 4th hole of the PM round and he still managed 34 points! I'd have fallen to pieces stressed out about the wheel coming completely off and having to drag the bag round! :D

Strange that Aztecs as i've heard you're used to the wheels falling off when playing golf :D

Without the tape to hold the wheel on I think I would of crumbled, it would of kept falling off and eventually done my head in, its only 4 weeks old,I knew I should of picked a Motocaddy :(
