finally get the chance to see if all the lessons and practice pay off at the weekend, went back to the basics and totally rebuilt my swing and not set foot on the course since, cant wait to unleash it on the forest of arden on saturday, never felt so confident in my swing before, so obviously everything is bound to go tits up :D just hope i can carry it over from the range to the course,

There was a really good article in GM recently about expectations ruining a good game. Bsically it said you can't expect to play well and actually play well at the same time as expectation is the future tense and you need to stay in the present tense. Basically let it happen don't wait for it to start happening. I think you just need to play one shot at a time and not get annoyed if a few mistakes happen early just trust your new swing and play with confidence.

Good luck :)

exactly , i could think of alot worse places to be on a sunny, ( hopefully )saturday morning , one of the wifes shopping trips, now there's pressure
