I've just been looking at the World Rankings and something caught my eye.
The minimum number of tournaments played to qualify to be in the rankings is 40 over the ranking period. Tiger's showing as having played 40.
The Ranking system rolls over 2 years. So if by the next ranking his first counting tournament drops out of the 2 year period, does this mean that Tiger can't "qualify" for the World Rankings??
