Thoughts On a Possible Golden Chipper Meet

Just wanted to make sure that it was a venue that people would travel to, especially those who competed for the Golden Chipper at the original meet.

I have sent out emails today to Rutland Water and Greetham Valley

I know both of the courses well having been a member at Rutland Water when I started playing and having lived in Greetham for most of my life. I have asked for costings for 2 rounds (par 3 & 18 at Rutland Water and 2 rounds of 18 at Greetham) plus food for a weekend in August. Will see what they come back with and will post the details. If I have heard nothing by the weekend I will head up to both clubs to discuss in person (and maybe have a knock about whilst there).

Weekends suit me better as running out of days off I can take. Wetland water have come back with a price of $33 for the par 3 then Bacon rolls and coffee then 18 on the full course. Sunday 7 august is the first date they can do

I might be up for this when a date is confirmed, haven`t made a forum meet yet so hoping this could be my debut, but like a few have mentioned it depends on date.
