Wife and I are off on our holidays on Thursday flying with EasyJet.
I have cocked up on our luggage allowance and have only booked 15kg each for hold luggage.
Can we combine our luggage into one suitcase of 30kg or do we have to take two cases each weighing 15kg.
Website doesn't really help.
Yes, I know, I'm a bloody idiot.....
:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

From easyJet

If you’re travelling with family or friends on the same flight and booking, you can pool your total weight allowance.

No single item can weigh more than 32kg. Maximum total size (length + width + height) must be under 275cm.

15kg is more than enough. It’s a good excuse to pack the minimal amount of stuff.

When using Easyjet to fly to Cyprus i always carry more weight than the wife and it’s never been a problem, as long as the total for both is on or under your allowance

What, for a two week holiday???
EasyJets website says a 15kg bag is "ideal for a weekend away".....
For me. Absolutely 15kg is enough.

The wife on the other hand would need 30kg for a weekend

Can you not change your baggage on "manage my booking" or whatever Easyjet call it.
We always take one hold bag and I take a carryon case.
Toiletries are the thing that eat up the weight.

I've just been to Spain for a week and my hold luggage was just under 20kg and that included my golf bag, clubs and balls.
15kg is plenty.
Besides, Crocs don't weigh much because they're full of bloody holes!

Smiffy you have mentioned what you have for “hold “
Luggage. But this is off there site for cabin luggage.

Everyone can bring one small cabin bag per person on board for free.

It can be a maximum size of 45 x 36 x 20 cm (including any handles or wheels) and needs to fit under the seat in front of you. That should be enough to bring all the essentials for your journey or for a short trip. Your bag can weigh up to 15kg, but we do ask that you’re able to lift and carry it yourself.
Bottom line get a good rucksack that will fit stuff in it. ?

When I go away for work my offshore bag usually weighs between 12 and 14kg. That's ten days worth of clothes plus my rig boots, overalls and other PPE. 15kg should be plenty, especially if you're going somewhere warm where it will only be T shirts and shorts.
