This Friday in Leicester

As mentioned in another thread, Full_Throttle and I will be playing at Humberstone Heights near Leicester, this Friday, 18th November around 10:30am.

I know there's a few forum members now from Leicestershire and there's only the 2 of us so far, so does anyone else fancy a game?

Cost: Just under a tenner!

wow havent played Humberstone Heights since I was at university - sadly have a broken toe currently so cant hobble round, wouldve fancied it otherwise

Thanks to Robert for booking the tee-time and thanks for the game too.

It was pretty much as I remembered it, but the condition wasn't great. I had no grip from about the 3rd onwards because my shoes had a layer of mud on the bottom as deep as my spikes, and my trolley wheels are caked in about half an inch of mud.

The result?

We played 50p front, 50p back and 50p overall stableford. Also £1 overall matchplay.
At the end I handed over a thoroughly deserved £2.50.

Robert, your ball striking was really good for most of the round, if you can get off your back foot at impact you'll hit it a lot further and straighter, and will absolutely slash your handicap. Well played.
