Sydney since late yesterday, off cruising NZ on Saturday for 2 weeks then doing west coast of OZ for 2 weeks

I live south of Perth.....if you want a game of golf let me know.....
can arrange for the costly sum of 15 quid and playing in the competition.

Unfortunately MrsD didn't book a cruise the goes anywhere near Perth - I have just pointed out the error of her bookings - apparently I'll be able to leave hospital the next day or two, I'll not mention it to her a second time !

When I worked at a golf club in my youth we had a fox hunt stray onto the course, they came trotting up the 18th. Their excuse was that some of their hounds jumped the fence so they had to chase after them on their horses.

I think I now get it.
The front 9 is Ravenmeadow, the back 9 is Perdiswell.
Or is it the front 8 + 18 is Ravenmeadow, the 9th to the 17th is Perdiswell.
Errm... no I don't get it.

This is it..... 18 is 9a if playing 9 holes though - but if playing 9 holes for handicap purposes, you have to play the true 9th - on perdi!

Well maybe…but to me it was unexpected that they just wouldn’t budge.

They haven't yet worked out what the hell the humans are doing on their land with those clubs and balls, but they keep watching in the hope they will one day understand.
Can't blame them really.

About as inland as you can get in the UK, but terns often and geese seasonal.
