Still a couple of months shy of her 14th birthday my grand daughter made her debut for the under 16 football team today.
Came on for the last 20 mins and helped the team to another 4 goals in a 7-0 win.
Played well and got stuck in against players mainly a foot taller than she was.

Played hockey today for Bedford Over 55s. We beat the Welsh Over 55s 3-1. Only my 3rd game back after 20+ years. Bloody loving it.

Ha ha. I've not rowed much lately and think I might give that up. Been playing more tennis as well as getting back into hockey. Since golf hasn't really cut it I've been looking for my new "thing" - turns out I should have been looking to my past. I really did think hockey was behind me but hey they even have Over 75 teams!!!
