Nothing important mate.Sorry, but have I missed something ............................ again?
OK, update on this. It should really be under Random Irritations, but I thought I would continue it here. Not sure to gladden the heart but it made us laugh.
My stepson needed to buy some perspex windows to replace broken ones in his garden shed. He ordered them but when I asked him if they had arrived he said he ordered the wrong size. I thought it odd but left it at that. We went to his house last night and on pressing a little further it turns out he ordered the size in mm rather than cm. So his replacement windows were delivered in an envelope..
He did tell me he'd got them at a good price.
Same happened in wife's car - her sunglasses in that holder above the rear view mirror!I've had a random rattle in my car for a while now. It sounds like something behind the dashboard, in the corner, passenger side. Passengers say it is in the same place, drivers side.
Today I was driving home and it was really annoying me. I tried thinking of other places it may be coming from, randomly putting my hand on other sections of the front of the car.
Bingo. There is a sunglasses holder in the roof of the car, above the rear view mirror. The rattle was my sunglasses in there. DOH. I can excuse the daftness of that, clearly self inflicted, with the sheer joy of no longer having an irritating rattle whilst I'm driving

Got a letter through this morning saying I needed to renew my driving licence.

I had a funny this year when online it said I needed a new photo but when the paper renewal notice came through it said I did not.

The real solution is surely to take the ball out of the rear door pocket is it not? I think you have over engineered that oneI have a little rattle/noise too... but I knew what it was, golf ball rolling around in the rear door pocket. My solution was to stuff a worn golf glove in beside it so it doesn't roll now. Prob won't touch either glove or ball for several months, if ever
I had a similar problem a few years ago.The real solution is surely to take the ball out of the rear door pocket is it not? I think you have over engineered that one![]()
