Modern day technically really is amazing.

We don't get phone signal at work due to being in a bomb proof bunker. However we do have WiFi (used to have O2 signal via a boost box but they have shut down boost boxes)

Giffgaff don't offer WiFi calling so wanted to swap to O2 to get WiFi calling again . Quick order and banned e-sim set up in 10 mins.

Same cost per month but more data and WiFi calling available

Wonderful

Premier inn breakfast. Certainly worth it with the kids

5 full tummies

Back to the room for an unwind before today's activities

Disney plus via the laptop on the TV for them to let their breakfast go down.

Actually relaxing for once 🤣

Lovely weekend away with the family seeing friends of ours who have a daughter the same age as the twins

Their full of the weekend telling nursery what a lovely time they had with her

She's apparently been telling her childminder all about my girls

Good to catch up as they live a bit far away

Booked in their return visit for September

Altho the downside to them coming here is I won't get my premier inn breakfast!! Lol 😂

When the twins were little I bought this small carpet cleaning thing.. was great at getting their sick out of their nursery carpet.

Anyways now it's been put into semi retirement now their a lot less sick (touch wood!)

I noticed (after cleaning the car yesterday) that I must have stepped in a mars bar!! Caramel all over the car mat.. god what a mess. Good old carpet cleaner to the rescue. Like it was never there!

Now that some warmer weather has arrived had another early morning Gravel ride, out at 5.30am back by 7. not a soul about apart from wildlife. Did it a couple of times last week too.

That carpet cleaning thing will remain useful well into their teens.

After my dismal performance in a senior open yesterday i decided to cheer myself up with a new Strimmer. Had a big petrol one that was way to much power for what i wanted it for. got a Husqvarna electric. great bit of kit did under all the trees and edges in well under an hour and still had charge to get rid of loads of St Johns wart thats crowding a few of the boarders

…likewise seeing them like this in Surrey. Mind you my nephew and a mate climbed Ben Lomond after work today, camping overnight, for their view - and his photos are spectacular. Still…40yrs in south of England and think it’s the first time I’ve seen them down here.

Indeed….I was in the garden with my wife at quarter to midnight watching them when I get a WhatsApp from my son in Farnham joking about a quick trip to Lapland and sent this photo…it’s taken from the meadow by the house he’s renting…
