They have a new excuse

I'm just surprised the mud stays on the ball when it accelerates from 0-130mph in about 0.01s
If it were on the point of impact it would be easier to accept.

+1 Mud on the ball is a load of kok. 95% must finish up on the club face after impact. I think any trapped between club face and ball at compression is up in the air as to whether it would enhance spin or cause a flyer. Either way, it ain't sending a ball 30 yards offline and into the woods.

Mud ball!!!!! they want to try putting on our greens at the moment, freshly spiked and covered in a thick layer of sand, it's like trying to putt with a coconut snowball. a bit of mud and the pampered pooches of the golfing world cry foul....big jessies.

For a moment I thought we played the same course but different ends of the country! It's like putting in a bunker at our place! :D

Pro's get pampered enough as it is.

I still can't belive Stenson on the 1st day on the 18th after he chopped out from the trees he asked if he could get releif from the pine straw as spectators had wad walked on it and then seemed to take a huff when he didn't.

Lol. They never complain when the ball bounces back off a spectator on to a good lie and thick rough is trampled in such a way that an otherwise unplayable lie becomes playable.

I'm with region3, once you hit it, the mud gets spattered, and the ball goes. It's not like they hit it out of the clag we have to play out of.
