How many people do you think are using the wrong shafts in their clubs

I must say i have picked all the clubs in my bag (except the wedges) based on the shafts, how they feel, ball flight, weight etc, never picked a club because of the head.

Probably quite a few - steel shafts dont matter really IMO.. My titleists are stiff and my mates arte regular and i can hit them the same. Anyone find steel shafts flexes matter??

I would say so

I struggled into the wind with any DG shaft when i got fitted the project x worked great,we even took a couple onto the course hitting into the wind and i could hit them through instead of my usual balloning

I thought it was down to my swing but changing iron shafts sorted it out

considering that every club in my bag was bought primarily because of the "affordability" then i'd guess that they'll probably all be wrong!

Got c/f'ed for my irons. Went for R300s, but could have gone for S300s, as to all intents there was no difference in performance. Guess I am borderline as to stiff / regular. Can't hit project x or nippons though, irrespective of stiffness, the weight is just wrong. So for me, weight is more important than flex. As long as we are ignoring X flex.
