The tungsten weight in the ping G 400 driver

Hi all simple Question can it be adjusted and what is the point of it ? Do you need to buy heavier weights lighter weights just basically what is the point of it. Many thanks choca

It's there to move the CoG low and towards the back of the head to help launch.
It's also for swingweight adjustment done by the fitters.
A heavier of lighter weight changes the SW as required.
I'm not sure you can buy different weights but there might be some on Ebay..
