The Simpsons/printer help needed !!

Help!!!

Im a 43 year old Dad currently re-living early Simpsons episodes with my boy.

There's an episode where Bart falls down a well, pretends to be Timmy O'Toole, but gets found out because he's printed his name on a label and stuck it on his radio.

I told my boy I used to have one of those label printers back in the 80's (they were cool back then for about 6 months) - and now he wants one....desperately

does anyone know what they were called or if they still make them?

I googled label printers but came it up with all modern printers

Yep, that's right. You can buy them for £30 or so (now electronic) and buy the labels in black-on-white or white-on-black as you see fit.

Its a plastic tape which comes in different sizes and colours, anything up to 1 cm wide

very useful for labeling files etc

My top tip is to print your 1/2, 3/4 and full wedge distances on them and stick them to your clubs!

I need to do this as ive lost my laminated card with them on

No Gary the modern tapes have a split in the backing that runs the length of the tape with an overlap, it's such a doddle even you will be able to manage it
