Patrick the par must be what, 69 - 70?
These men will always tear it apart with the size of those fairways eh?

Off the black its 72 Allan, at just over 7000 yards not long for these guys. I know there are a few new tee's just for the pro's that add a bit more length. They have managed to get some rough this year as there's been so much rain. They have also added some pro bunkers and by that i mean only these guys would reach them off the tee.
But like a lot of Links courses my own club included it needs wind to protect it and we havn't had anything but a slight easterly for the last 2 months apart from the odd day.
Lets hope we get a bit of wind over the weekend, but not at Royal Dornoch as i'm playing there Sunday![]()
Sorry,I meant the Pro's 'mean' par.
par 72 but must be a mean par of what 69 or 70 making Frannies round more like 7 under and Hutsby more like 9 over.
Tried to look for it on TV yesterday and it didn't start on Sky until after 3pm. Is it on anywhere else?
I know this question is a few years late but why did The Scottish Open move from the superb Loch Lomond?
