I was actually looking at him and Lawrie for next week so I'll be studying their form this week.

If I was betting I would go for Franny.
I watched Colesarts play Khan as amateurs . He was 3 under par by the 8th at Turnberry and was 2 down. I thought his attitude was great.

Has a horrid attitude apparently which was meant to be why Monty over looked him as a wild card for the last RC.
Other than that I quite like him.
Looks like the players and caddies were right when they said "it's downright easy" and that was last year, wonder why they haven't toughened it up
They have stuck in quite a few extra bunkers this year, bit like most Link "Achem" courses when there is no wind can be torn apart.
And there is not so much as a breath today;(

That was part of the excitement of it. I'm sure the course manager said they were not bothered if players went low. It was a fun fair set up and it'll be the exact same for the paying public as it is for the European Tour stars.
They have added a bit of length and a few new bunkers for this year though.
Brian Soutar from Leven Golfing Society is currently -1 through 4 holes, he is the current South African Amateur Champion.
