The ridge today

Myself and MVP went up there for a knock and first of all let me say, what a truly wonderful course in immaculate condition, a total "wow" course for me. Will definately be joining after my holidays.

As for the golf, we played a matchplay off of scratch, after a strong start by me, getting 3up lewis got warmed up and drew the match a/s on the 9th.

After that there was a bit of swing each way before I finally clinched the match on the 17th ending 2&1.

Lewis highlight would probably be a supreme birdie on the 16th which included a stunning approach to within 3ft.

My highlight was that I parred every par3 on the course today.

There were some great shots played by both of us today and a lot of positives came out of it.

Great company, a great courseand impressively, the round took a mere 3hrs 20mins which for 2 golfers in patchy form, was great.

jon forgot to mention he hit a tree on every hole and still managed to beat me!

It was a fantastic round of golf, the course was in brilliant condition and i will be joining. And one day i will buy one of the bloody nice houses that surround the course
