The R11 is alive....

Re: The R11 ia alive....

Why, in this age of financial hardship, would anyone pay £329 for a club when you can pick up one that's equally as good for just over £100??? ;)

Why do people keep asking this. Some people are not broke(grrrr bankers) and have alot of disposable income, they want the best thing they can and £300+ is nothing to them. If I could I would.(not buy a R11 but always have the latest thing)

Why do you need the latest thing? Does it make that much difference to your game or is it to show off?

£329 for an R11 or £100+ for an R9 - the maths is simple.

There's no difference between either club except +£200.

Re: The R11 ia alive....

I have to agree. At my level, to be honest most clubs will perform more or less the same regardless of price tag. I guess if I wanted to get any sort of value to paying that much I'd have to go and get a C/F session so I had the best shaft for my game. My R7 LTd and Tour Burner were both off the shelf purchases and perfectly my game and its limits. I don't want an adjustable driver and wouldn't dream of paying £300+ for one

Shush man, if people didn't go out and buy the new shiney models then you wouldn't be picking up the previous (just as good!) model for a third of the price!

Re: The R11 ia alive....

Exactly champ, I may well end up with a r11, probaly next season when they'll be £149 in ag because the r11 super deep quad tri triple model will have out dated this one :)

Re: The R11 ia alive....

Just got my hands on a R11 today, really like it. The colour is not an issue to me at all, didn't notice it at all when playing the shots. I do like the variations that are available though especially the ability to change the loft over a range of 2 degrees.

I got the 9 deg, with the stock stiff shaft. Put the head weights int the neutral position and the sole adjustment to neutral. Played today with the loft altered to 8 deg and hit it well. Will alter the loft over the next few days to see how much it changes the flight, option to take it to 10 deg if i want to.

Overall, very impressed........... :)
