The Old Boys....................

are still unbeaten.

Not too dificult when your off 21   ;)

Can't believe James and i could lose to two old timers. Mind you Leftie did hole yards and yards of putts, and we didn't hole a thing.

James did measure with his gps a couple of Smiffy's tee shots on two of the par 3's. We now know have far he hits his 4 iron and wedge. Never played with someone who likes to leave a full second shot into a par 3.

;)

It's understandable,... Leftie is a good player :D :D

I played like a total numpty, but somehow played 17 holes in 5 over par, go work that one out :D :D

I've gotta figure out how you old guys manage to play without seizing up the next day! I could barely walk this morning.

Enjoyed the round, the course and the company, many thanks Richard :)

(Forgot to mention, Leftie made a cracking par up the last to clinch the victory!)

:D :D :D

We will have them next time James, when the white tees are back in use. ;) Playing off the ladies tees played into their hands !!!

Glad you enjoyed the day.

I know that you won't ever forgive me for saying this James, but Jiffy's drive and approach on the 18th were worth putting up with him on the previous 17 holes :D :D

As he was 4ft past the pin in 2 leaving a short putt for birdie, he wanted me to finish off the match with an easy 7ft cross slope tap in for par and the match. Having obliged and with the pressure off, he was free to go for his birdie ..........

btw, if it will make you feel a bit better, I was a little bit stiff this afternoon for a while - but there again that was after my 3rd game in 3 days (2 of them on our West course carrying) - but it did wear off quite quickly

:D :D :D

Seriously though, I did enjoy the game (thanks again Richart) and there was good golf played by all with all the usual pi33 taking and banter.

The GM Spring Meeting at Blackmoor should be a Hoot

Admittedly it was the best TWO SHOTS IN A ROW I've ever seen Smiffy hit! (don't tell him i said that) ;)

... and it's not unusual for him to take 17 holes to warm up :D

Very much enjoyed the game and company guys, and you are all welcome for another one at any time. No way Smiffy can ever hit two better shots to the last to seal a match. ;) ;)
