I am enjoying watching this golf fest on the telly box,
Im not allowed Sky, so only really get a chance to watch the Masters, Open and Ryder Cups.

Nice to see two brits at the top, but with Tiger & Lefty chomping at their heels it is very interestingly poised.

Not forgetting the asian contingent, Kim, Choi & Yang

Thought Poults played very steady, Westwood should be 2 shots clear of him, but had a couple of bad holes.

Interesting also to see in last months GM Augusta preview who were thought to be "the ones to watch" Rory, Greame McDowell, Kaymer, Harrington. Casey, all missing the cut and Sergio off the pace.

And the course itself looks in great shape,
All in all, a delight to watch, just wish I had half the talent

Yes enjoying the golf 2 but the atmospere hasnt kicked in yet seems a bit low key to me,however the thought of an english man on sunday in with a shout fills me with glee and i cant wait.If an englishmen wins and shuts those americans up lovely jubbly.

Best Masters in years loving it so far

It really highlights how course set up is so important the scoreing on day 1 was so much lower than 2 and the only real difference was the pin positions. Hopefully they will make the course play a little easer the last two days as Augusta is built for charges.

I cannot wait for round 3, I still think Tiger will win but would love Poulter or Westwood to win, I will be absolutely gutted if that horrid little brat Kim wins

Unfortunately Fisher, Casey and McIlroy had the worst of the weather on day 1 and have then failed to make any head way on day 2.

Kim is American, not Asian.

Where do you see the Ryder cup without Sky?

Casey would be winning without 36 bad holes. Unfortunately they all count.

That said, nice to see two Brits leading. I hope they stay there for tomorrow.

I would love to see Poulter in the last group with Woods tomorrow. I don't think he'd be intimidated and if Westwood was in the penultimate group it would free him to post a winning score with Poults birdieing the last to come second

I know they quoted the average score as 1 and a bit shots more on day 2, but i was wondering what CSS would have been if calculated on each day...

Mickelson's eagle/eagle on 13 and 14 was spectacular. Westwood looked well away but reeled in again. Great stuff!

Gotta go to be for an early start tomorrow - first game of season, feeling inspired! ;)
