The Ladies Tour - a rookie

I'm hopeful she'll do well. Her twitter and website are pretty good reads and she seems to be putting in a significant amount of effort in terms of practice, gym work etc. She finished 18th at Q school so I think I'm right in saying she has full privileges for the season and that will help her chase to get enough cash to retain her card.

I've not been a huge follower of the female game except for the bigger events but I'll definitely keep an eye on here scores. Would be great if Charlie could do it

Good on ya for following the ladies tour, we can learn so much from them as my old coach Maureen Madill used to say.
To that end me and Mrs upsidedown are heading out to the

tomorrow.

Played it last winter and shot 78 :D

Wow there's some big numbers on that leaderboard - 29 shots from 1st to last!! :o

Yeah the old North easterly was blowing well this afternoon ;)

Didn't affect Ms Sergas much though. Good shooting if tthe wind was up.
Feel sorry for the girl in last place though, is it worth turning up tomorrow when you're +21?

She has indeed withdrawn, as has Trish Johnson, shame was looking forward to see her.

yeah been following Charlie for a month or so now too

really do wish her the best of luck, especially with her playing golf back to front ;)

she's a real nice lass too, really down to earth and has a laugh on twitter

she seems to be putting alot of hard work in with practice, gym work.
so i really hope it pays off for her and she has not only a great year ,but for years to come too

just a shame she supports Tottenham :p

really wish they could get some more sponsorship on LET and show more on tv too, as that would attract more sponsors to the ladies game

i also follow @TheJodiEwart rookie on the LPGA
(on Charlie's recommendation) give her your support too tweeple

I think I recognise her - there was a Lady Professional flogging lessons on eBay a few months back, could well be her.

think it might have been

We had a really good day and saw some outstanding golf at times.

However the most amazing golf went as follows.

We were waiting for the next group to play into the 9th, par 5 and the one girl pulled her second shot and it was heading OB until it hit a " next tee this way " sign then rebounded into the lateral water hazard. The ball was playable but due to the large tufty grass only backwards. She went back onto the fairway to see where she wanted to play from and duly played her ball to there. Chipped to 10 foot and holed the putt for par :D
