The Bible doesn't acknowledge dinosaurs, the two aren't compatible.
We didn't evolve from modern day apes; we evolved from shared ancestors.
As for having stopped evolving, I think you'll find we have not but as we become more intelligent, we interfere in our own way (advances of medicine) and do it for ourselves to some degree.
