Think Sunningdale halfway hut is overrated. My favourite is Carnoustie just for the steak pie.

I agree with Sunningdale half way hut. It’s ok. Nothing special but by hell its pricey ?

The pies at Carnoustie are good but nothing beats the pie on the 10th tee on the old course. Last winter we got there and they had sold out ? I didn’t stop moaning at @Jimaroid for the next 5 holes ?

The little stop off point at RSG on that very wet day was awesome. Great welcome. Home made soup at a ridiculously cheap price.

Can someone give Hank Marvin a nudge. Gleneagles Kings Course is full of brilliant holes but I can't remember them individually ?. I need him to throw the best into the mix ?.

Par 3 12th Hopeman on the Moray coast

Play off a high tee to a green way below and the waves crash towards the edge of the green.

Plays anything from a wedge to a wood.

Just a spectacular par 3

Oh yes they do, there is one in Shropshire that starts with 3 x par 3's, Church Stretton, I think.

13 - Notts (Hollinwell). Par 3 down the hill
