There are better holes in the world and they are on a course called Old Head
Check out the par 5 12th!

So if the 4th at Old Head is in are we now on the 5th? If so I'd say Crail Balcomie. A long par 4 over a rocky bay. Great risk and reward hole. Sam Torrance supposed to have said it's the toughest par 4 in Scotland. Not sure how to get a photo of it onto my phone.
Ha ha. Not my thread, not my rules, but I suspect not. It needs 3 nominations, that is how I read it.

Problem I've got is that a lot of the better courses I've played have been on days like H4H and have been shotgun starts - can't work out which hole is the correct number...

Been following this thread without really contributing - I've not the knowledge of courses of half those on here, let alone having played them. But that is. STUNNING hole. A look through the course overview makes me want to get there asap! Definitely gets my vote!

Sheringham and Royal Cromer are two gorgeous courses next door to each other in Norfolk that make for a wonderful weekend trip. I've done it a couple of times and would highly recommend!

If we have moved onto the 6th then it’s a dilemma for me

If we're going on to No.6, I'd offer up the 6th at Spyglass.
Lovely hole and back drop as well as change of elevation to the green that allows great views.
