...that I've witnessed. :(

Actually it was the guy in the videos I posted last week.

Our 3rd. With the flag at the front I think it was playing about 134yds with a cross wind.
He struck it well, had about 3-4yds of fade, pitched pin high 12" left, took a hop forward and spun back into the hole dead weight.
The green is slightly below the tee and slopes back to front so we could watch it all the way into the hole.

1 for 4, thank you very much!! :)

Wooping and hollering like an American!

Forgot his wallet

I know he wasn't lying because I had to lend him the entry fee for the comp about an hour before, so technically his money is mine :D

So you had to get the drinks in as well?? Jeez, I wish you were my friend...

He had to go straight after. I'll get him next time!

whats he planing to do with the ball ??? my never happen again :one:

He carried on playing with it. I don't think I would have done.

He lost it on the 12th (OOB) and was gutted so he went over and found it which made his day.

Lesson not learnt though. He STILL carried on playing with it and lost it on 17.
A game of 2 halves for him. He had 25pts front 9 (level gross) and 12pts back 9.

Wow why would he still play the hole in one ball?? Ive never had one but if I did(or when I do!)the ball will take pride of place on my bookshelf :) .

I had one 4 months ago, didnt consider keeping the ball. My club puts a bottle of whisky on the bar free of charge if you get one so didnt cost me anything.

I played in a club team game earlier in the year and one of our guys got two in the same round.

He's gonna be knocking down your door for more tips!

Doubt it.

Because he hits a draw most of the time, misses most greens left and hits lots of fat/thin shots, I suggested having his hands a little more forward and opening the clubface slightly.

Doing that he hit quite a few nice shots at the range.

Next round he's not doing it and back to normal.

Today after about 15 holes he tells me that he's trying something new and getting good results... pushing his hands forward a bit.
