What a car..........:sick::poop:

Really boring I'm afraid, a Vauxhall Corsa in February 2000.

A Vauxhall Viva. I worked for BT in the 70’s, and they paid for a 2 week driving course with a test at the end of it. I’d had my full bike licence for a couple of years by then, and had ridden on a provisional for a couple of years before then. For me it was about learning to drive a car. My roadcraft was already ingrained.

My mates Renault 12, only the front brakes worked, the wipers were very temperamental, the hand brake would only hold on the flat and we had to tape the bonnet down because it had a habit of flying up when driving.

But I passed first time without any lessons, so well pleased with the car, which 3 weeks later caught on fire while my mate was showing off in it to his girl friend.
