Turkey, Gammon, pigs in blankets, roast pots (my Missus does the best!), sprouts, mashed swede, roast parsnips (yuk), cranberry sauce, thick, thick gravy.
Followed by New York deli style vanilla cheesecake.
Cheese/pate and crackers in the evening.
Full English breakfast mid morning on Boxing day followed by cold meat and pickles at teatime.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH SPROUTS. It's the cooks ( especially pubs)who produce over cooked,soggy,bitter tasting sprouts that give them a bad name.

We are planning on eating around 2.00pm on Christmas Day Rich, so about 6.00pm would be preferable.

Par boil them for 5 mins, drain and give them a shake.
Let them cool then into the fridge the night before.
Then, straight from the fridge into really hot oil or goose fat.
When they're almost ready, take them out of the oil/fat and put them back into the oven on a dry tray
