Put a wee dash of L&P in your onion gravy. Lovely. As for the cheese it has to be a nice stilton,a mature cheddar or a bit of Lancashire crumbly.

As an aside does anyone else have a lump of cheese with a slice of Xmas cake? Or is it just me?

It is so wrong but I know loads that do it.

How about breaded camembert with cranberry sauce

Or a baked Brie, cut open and stuffed with finely diced spring onion, tomatoes and chives,,,,,, MMmmmmmm

Any sort of mild cheddar on toast with a little barbeque sauce, yum! Id bet there is a witch hunt on for me now! haha.

Try the cheese on toast with Worcester Sauce and Cayenne Pepper. Add small bits of Cambozola or Gorgonzola, too.
