The beauty of golf!

Was having a dire round today (11 holes) and I even had a club throwing moment which completely disgusted me. I struggled to make a decent shot and then got to the last 4 holes.

All of a sudden it came together and made birdie, par, birdie, par.

Makes it all worthwhile and makes me feel like an arse for getting so angry!

Happens to us all, Jon. Never ever give up. You never know what's gonna happen towards the end of a round. Good finish.

Could not agree more-I dont think there is anyone on here who has not suffered the slings and arrows who describe.

I can't condone the club throwing (says the man who lauched a pitching wedge some 30 yards on the practice ground last week!!! ) but well done for persevering and getting some reward for patience.

Out of interest, what was the problem over the first 11 holes. Was it the same mistake every time (slice etc) or a multitude of sins. Did you consciously do anything different. Were you looking for a fix or was it a gift from the golfing gods to make you come back for more?
