In the 18 years, up to the end of 2007, that Colin Montgomery has been competing in majors, how many times has he finished second and where and when was he runner up

5 runner ups I think. I can remember Pebble beach where Tom Kite pipped him (1992?)and recently at Winged Foot 2006 where Geoff Ogilvy pipped him. I also remember Steve Elkington beating him but I can't remember where or when. Of course Open 2005 (I was there d'oh) at St Andrews when Tiger pipped him. Can't remember other one.
Do I get 7/10?

I'm guessing NONE. I think he won them all, as when he stood on the podium I couldn't see anyone behind him.

I can think of 3 or 4......but I'm sure there's a few more I've tried to erase from my mind.....

Didn't he finish second to Ernie twice...at the 1994 and 1997 US Opens? I remember him missing a 6 footer on the 71st hole at Congressional to fall a shot behind the Big Easy. Heartbreaking for him.
